The Plaza Alliance for the Performing Arts (PAPA) presents “These Shining Lives” by Melanie Marnich and directed by Amanda Boundy on April 2-5.

This powerful play tells the true story of those courageous women who worked in the Radium Dial factory near Chicago in the 1920s and 30s. Nicknamed the Radium Girls, they painted radium on dials of clocks for a glow-in-the-dark effect.
